Management Analyst I/II – Transportation

MANAGEMENT ANALYST I/II – TRANSPORTATION – Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) – (Position grade: $76,776 – $121,678) annually depending on qualifications, plus a generous paid benefits package including PPO/HMO). Full-time position. Under general supervision or direction, manages federal, state, and local funds related to transportation programs, projects, and studies and ensures that funding requirements are properly executed to meet funding requirements; oversees and coordinates CVAG-managed projects, studies, programs with other CVAG staff and staff from local governments and regional transit agencies; researches, identifies, and applies for grants and manages post award funding; may serve as project engineer including planning, design, programming of funds, project delivery, and reporting; and performs related duties as assigned; and has strong database knowledge and communication skills. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in related field from an accredited college or university with major coursework in transportation, urban, or regional planning, engineering, public or business administration. Organization and communication skills as well as computer literacy (Microsoft Suites) in word processing and spreadsheets are essential.
